  • What can I expect from therapy?
    Together, we’ll craft a personalized plan that aligns with your vision for change. We start by building practical skills, discovering ways to regulate your emotions, and understanding how your nervous system responds. We will be tapping into emotions. Once we’ve established trust and a sense of safety, we’ll dive deeper into the transformative work of breaking cycles and creating lasting healing.
  • What is your session format and current rates?
    Individual sessions (50 minutes) $125. Couples sessions (50 minutes) $150.
  • Do you take insurance?
    I currently accept a limited number of insurance plans, as using it often requires a mental health diagnosis to be included in your official medical records. Many clients find that paying out of pocket offers greater privacy and flexibility in their care.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    Every healing journey is unique. How long you’ll spend in therapy depends on your concerns, your life circumstances, and the way you process your experiences. Many clients meet weekly, or bi-weekly whether for a few months, a year, or longer—it all depends on what feels right for you. The decision of when your journey feels complete is entirely yours, and I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
  • I’m interested in couples counseling—do you provide that service?
    Yes, I do work with couples. I create a space where each partner can explore areas needing support and reflect on how they are showing up in the relationship. We work on deep listening to each partner’s internal parts and how those parts shape their interactions and patterns within the relationship.
  • Do I need to live in San Diego to receive services?
    No, you don’t need to live in San Diego to work with me. I offer virtual therapy to clients throughout California. If you're located anywhere in the state, we can connect through secure telehealth sessions. Teletherapy can be especially helpful if you live in a remote area, have limited access to transportation, or simply have a busy schedule that makes in-person sessions hard to manage. It offers flexibility and comfort—meeting you where you are, both literally and emotionally.
